Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is a British-Canadian actress famous for her character as Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she received five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. The role was reprised in the film Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). In the 80s she was a leading character on the television show Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin as well as Porky's. Kim Cattrall's performance in the HBO TV comedy Sex & the City is among the most memorable. The character of Samantha Jones played by noted actress Cattrall was a pivotal moment for her career. The film was not just an immediate hit for the public from her homeland however, it made her an international star. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most well-known role was her role in La Dolce Vita, a comedy-drama. The film won an Oscar along with the Golden Palm by the Cannes Film Festival. The film also enjoyed commercial and critical success. Before she began her acting career it was her job to be the Swedish fashion model. She took home in the Miss Sweden competition. In the US the actress began to appear in films playing minor roles. She played the Venusian guard for Abbott and Costello Go to Mars which was her debut credit role. The film was later awarded the Golden Globe award in the most promising newcomer category following being featured in the movie Blood Alley.
